Gentle weaning class details

Join us on April 9, 2025, at noon for an in-depth exploration of the intricacies involved in weaning from nursing and/or pumping. This class is designed to equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate this important transition smoothly and compassionately.

During our session, we will discuss your baby’s transition to various feeding options, including frozen breast milk, formula, or cow’s milk. We will delve into the advantages and considerations of each option as mom and baby take on the weaning process.

In addition, we’ll cover the different types of containers available—such as bottles, cups, and the introduction of solid foods—and examine how these choices can affect your baby’s liquid intake. You’ll gain valuable insights into how to make these transitions easier for both you and your baby, ensuring a supportive environment.

Our goal is to show you that weaning can be a gentle process when approached thoughtfully. You’ll leave with practical strategies to make this transition as smooth as possible for both you and your little one.

For further tips and resources on weaning, we encourage you to check out the materials available from La Leche League International.
